FINANCIAL AID ANALYST

Full-Time

The Financial Aid Analyst works under the supervision of the Director of Financial Aid and is responsible for providing, obtaining, processing, and packaging student financial aid information. 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing student aid applications, reviewing data for accuracy and completeness, determining financial need according to federal regulations, counsel students and/or parents concerning the financial aid processes and making good financial aid decisions, assist in compiling state and federal reports and rosters, keep abreast of new regulations, monitor student enrollment to verify aid eligibility. Occasional attendance of workshops and conferences will be required.  Able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Successful candidates must have a commitment to working cooperatively with other campus personnel and departments to fulfill the Mission of the College.  

Minimum qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree with a major in general business or related field; at least one year of experience in student financial aid or related area.  Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Prior knowledge of student financial aid programs, standards, and procedures desired.

Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon recommendation and approval by the Chancellor. Salary is $29,251.
