AETN DEPUTY DIRECTOR FOR ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE
(Finance & Administration Division)

Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) seeks a Director in the Finance and Administration Division (CFO). The Chief Financial Officer reports to the Executive Director and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team. Duties include: overseeing the progress and finalization of the work product, interviewing and selecting applicants or approving selections; provides disciplinary action; ensures appropriate training is provided to all AETN staff; supervises performance evaluations and helps establish work priorities for AETN staff. Plans and directs financial division activities by establishing financial goals, objectives, and short and long-range plans to ensure
consistency with overall agency/institution mission. Oversees the development, revision, implementation, and monitoring of administrative policies and procedures, biennial and interim budgets, and reallocation needs of the department. Ensures accuracy of financial data through the review and creation of financial and statistical reports. As a member of the Executive leadership team, lends vision and helps deliver promise of vision. Provides technical assistance, guidance, and information to internal and external contacts, legislators, vendors and customers by researching and
interpreting federal and state laws and agency policies and procedures. Monitors
Legislation affecting the agency and foundation. Develops or oversees the development and distribution of policies and procedures for new and revised accounting, budgetary,
purchasing, personnel and other administrative systems. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Minimum Qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in accounting, general business, public administration, personnel management, or a related field; plus five years of experience in a supervisory or
leadership capacity. Preferred Qualifications: CPA; 8-10 years experience in fiscal and personnel management; experience and knowledge with non-profit management and commercial or public broadcasting; experience in researching legal issues; familiarity with FCC regulations; knowledge of modern automated business and accounting systems (such as AASIS); law degree a plus. Background check is required. Salary: $77,862-$89,541 (Grade GS13).
